A metre-based, two-dimensional hose model with a fixed, freely rotating origin, constrained segment lengths, bend resistance, inertia and caddy rolling resistance.
The hose is fuel-filled. Its dry mass and diameters come from the supplied Elaflex catalogue. Fuel density is fixed at 800 kg/m³. Caddy mass, measured hose stiffness and actual rolling resistance were not supplied.
This is an approximate layout simulation, not a force or safety calculation. Self-collision keeps non-adjacent hose segments apart at the 116 mm outside diameter, including during fast drags. Contact stops blocked movement; drag back or around the obstruction to continue. It does not model terrain, buildings, aircraft contact, pressure effects or wheel geometry. Satellite imagery may have positional offsets.
The top-view A330-300 uses Airbus dimensions: 63.66 m length, 60.30 m wingspan and 5.64 m fuselage width. The outline is simplified for planning. Its centre starts at −3.323179, 29.319753 with heading 350°, measured clockwise from true north. Drag the aircraft to move it, and its red circular handle to rotate it. Aircraft and hose move independently.

Drag a yellow caddy or the open hose end to move it. Click near a handle to snap to the closest one; the hose between handles cannot be grabbed. Caddy spacing changes in 1 m steps. Drag elsewhere to pan, or hold Space to pan over a handle. Scroll or pinch to zoom. Select a caddy or end and use the arrow keys to move it; hold Shift for larger steps. Escape releases the selection. A selected aircraft can also be moved with the arrow keys. The heading handle accepts arrow keys (1°), Shift + arrow keys (5°), and Home (north).
The orange swivel is fixed at 3.320830208°S, 29.320084576°E, centred on the white apron dot in the supplied reference image. Yellow dots mark the selected caddy spacing (5 m by default). The open end remains draggable even when it falls between caddy stations. The hollow tip is the open hose end. The width and marker sizes are enlarged for visibility.
